What is KUUMAT?

Kathmandu University Undergraduate Management Admission Test (KUUMAT) is a merit-based test conducted by KATHMANDU UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT (KUSOM) to enroll students for undergraduate programs. Students who are willing to get admitted in the following undergraduate programs of KUSOM are required to take this test.

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
  • Bachelor of Business Administration(Hons)/Bachelor of Business Administration (Emphasis)
  • Bachelor of Business Information System (BBIS)
  • Bachelor in Hospitality and Tourism Management (BHTM)

10 Weeks

Shift

Morning: 5.00 pm - 7.00 pm

Day: 5.00 pm - 7.00 pm

Evening: 5.00 pm - 7.00 pm

Eligibility

Students with following qualifications are qualified to appear on test:
  • Minimum of 50 percent in aggregate in 10+2. Or,
  • Intermediate -or CGPA of 2.0 on the scale of 4.0 in 10+2. or isntermediate -or minimum of 50 percent in aggregate or CGPA of 2.0 on the scale of 4.0 equivalent level study program form universities/boards recognized by Kathmandu University.
  • Applicants who have completed the required examination to be eligible for the test but are awaiting the final results can also apply.

    Exam Format

    Kathmandu University Undergraduate Management Admission Test (KUUMAT) is based on two evaluation domains.

    Verbal Assessment

    The verbal assessment sections measure abilities to understand, analyze and evaluate what is read and to recognize basic rules of incorrect or ineffective expressions and is based on the passage, understanding the meaning of and relation between words and critical reasoning abilities.

    Quantitative Assessment

    The Quantitative Assessment section checks the ability to consider events, behaviors, and experimentation based on data. It shows the relation between numbers and and factors to influence the understanding abilities of data and experimentation.
